再度交白卷意味着哲凯赖什已在连续11场运动战比赛中未能破门，而他本赛季18场英超比赛仅收获5球。当换人牌亮起显示哲凯赖什被换下时，内维尔在天空体育评论道：“这个换人并不意外。”

“他整场比赛毫无作用——这么说已经算客气了。今晚他的表现非常糟糕，完全毫无建树。听着，情况分两种：一种是得不到支援，另一种是需要更积极参与比赛、做得更多——而他显然属于需要做得更多的那一类。”

当哲凯赖什从葡超冠军葡萄牙体育转会至英超冠军争夺者阿森纳时，外界曾对他寄予厚望。但在这支已成为自2004年以来最有可能夺冠的球队中，哲凯赖什的表现始终未能达到预期。本周早些时候，德克兰-赖斯曾为哲凯赖什辩护，坚称“如果没有这位夏季6400万镑新援的贡献，阿森纳不可能领跑积分榜”。

但阿森纳名宿保罗-默森等人仍对哲凯赖什表示担忧，他甚至指出这位前锋“并非天生的射手”，最终可能导致枪手在赛季关键阶段付出代价。“我认为阿森纳缺少天生的射手，”默森在天空体育表示，“哲凯赖什本应扮演这个角色，但我觉得他并非这类球员。”

“他从来不会去捡漏推射空门，他的进球数真的太少了，就这么简单。当赛季进入最后八场比赛，局势变得异常紧张时，你可能需要那种能‘无中生有’创造机会的人。”

“他们需要一个天生的射手，而我认为队里最接近这一标准的是加布里埃尔-热苏斯。在热苏斯之前，球队倚仗的是哲凯赖什，而当凯 - 哈弗茨伤愈归队后，我认为阿尔特塔会优先考虑哈弗茨。这就是我对目前锋线的看法。”

在阿森纳与利物浦的平局赛后，罗伊-基恩点评道：“利物浦其实配得上更多，但显然，足球比赛你得把球送进网窝才行。”

“他们（阿森纳）缺乏那种一剑封喉的终结能力。赛前我还担心他们的中场控制不住局面，看来是我多虑了，他们的中场控制得很好。”

“利物浦绝对是场上表现更好的那支球队。对于阿森纳来说，随着比赛的深入，空气中弥漫着一种紧张的气氛。这对他们来说不是一个好迹象，不过听着，既然拿了一分，那就继续前进吧。”
