xAi扩展速度飞快！马斯克I斥资200亿美元建AI数据中心

电竞体育1月9报道 密西西比州州长泰特・里夫斯今日宣布，马斯克旗下 AI 初创公司 xAI 将向该州投资超 200 亿美元（IT之家注：现汇率约合 1399.22 亿元人民币）建设 AI 数据中心，这标志着该州历史上规模最大的单一经济发展项目正式落地。

据介绍，该项目预计将创造数百个永久性工作岗位，大幅扩展 xAI 的算力，并进一步巩固美国中南部地区作为日益增长的 AI 基础设施枢纽的地位。

xAI 已将密西西比州南港市一处现有设施改造为新的数据中心，并将其命名为“MACROHARDRR”。IT之家注意到，该地点靠近一座 xAI 近期新收购的发电厂，并与 xAI 在田纳西州的一处现有数据中心相邻，从而形成一个能够支持超大规模 AI 训练和推理的区域集群。

一旦建成，南港设施预计将使 xAI 的总计算能力提升至近 2 吉瓦，使其跻身全球最强大的 AI 计算设施之列。该数据中心计划于 2026 年 2 月开始运营。

密西西比州州长泰特・里夫斯在新闻稿中表示：“这项破纪录的 200 亿美元投资，为密西西比州经济发展注定再创辉煌的一年拉开了精彩序幕。今天，埃隆・马斯克将 xAI 带到德索托县，这个项目将改变该地区，并为当地居民带来持续数代的巨大机遇。这是密西西比州历史上最大的经济发展项目。”

为保障此项投资，密西西比州发展局已批准 xAI 加入其数据中心激励计划，该计划为符合条件的计算硬件和软件提供销售和使用税豁免。南港市和德索托县也通过费用代偿协议支持该项目，旨在加速开发进程并降低前期成本。

马斯克在回应此事时强调了 xAI 的增长势头。他表示：“xAI 正以难以估量的速度扩展 —— 我们正在孟菲斯建设第三座大型数据中心。MACROHARDRR 将我们的 Colossus 训练算力推升至约 2 吉瓦，这无疑是地球上最强的 AI 系统。xAI 和密西西比州政府的执行速度令人惊叹。我们感谢里夫斯州长对 xAI 超速建设的支持。”
